Brittany Golding, LCSW-C
Founder & Executive Director
Brittany Golding is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C in Maryland, LCSW in Connecticut) and the Founder & Executive Director of Heart & Grace Therapy, LLC, a practice grounded in compassion, connection, and community healing. Originally from Connecticut and proud of her Jamaican roots, Brittany’s dedication to hard work, resilience, and service was inspired by her family’s legacy of perseverance and faith.
Her journey into social work began after an early pursuit in fashion design; a field that awakened her creativity and appreciation for self-expression. While her career path shifted toward mental health, Brittany continues to weave creativity into her practice through non-conventional and expressive therapeutic approaches that foster connection and healing.
Brittany has extensive experience supporting individuals and families across diverse settings starting from community-based youth programs and crisis intervention services to skilled nursing facilities and private practice. She specializes in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, caregiver stress, and self-esteem challenges, always centering dignity, culture, and authenticity in her work. She is currently getting trained in EMDR to continue providing in-depth support as part of her trauma-informed interventions.
As both a clinician and leader, Brittany believes that healing is deeply intertwined with social justice. She is committed to advancing equity, advocacy, and access to care for marginalized communities while empowering others to find strength in their own stories.
Beyond her clinical work, Brittany is passionate about mentoring emerging social workers and creating spaces that blend creativity, empathy, and purpose. Through Heart & Grace Therapy, she continues to build a community where healing is not only personal — it’s collective.
